Welcome To WISO

WISO is an interfaith non-profit group whose aim is to promote social justice for women who live in abusive situations. We help women who live with Domestic violence, Rape, Sex Trafficking, Female genital cutting, HIV/AIDS, and other forms of child molestations. We work with religious communities to listen, educate, and identify necessary resources to support those in need of help. We rely heavily on self-funding, workshop fees, grants, and donations to facilitate our goals.

Vision

Our vision is to promote an engaged community; to share knowledge, skills and expertise to improve the lives of women and those in distress in our communities.

Aims

- We engage religious communities in efforts to protect women's rights and general welfare.
- We advocate for those who live with violence and other forms of abuse.
- We educate women and community members on matters of social justice.
